Our Story
Danielle has had the privilege of welcoming life into the world in two distinctly beautiful ways. The first was the joyous arrival of her daughter, cradled in the care of an OBGYN team in a hospital setting. The second was as a surrogate for a family longing for a child, surrounded by the warmth and guidance of midwives and a doula in a tranquil birth center. Both experiences, though vastly different, have woven together a tapestry of understanding and wisdom.
Through the birth of her daughter, Danielle discovered the remarkable strength of the female body, was introduced to the world of giving birth, and the innate importance of navigating birth without unnecessary interventions. This journey underscored the vital importance of consent at every step of the birthing process.
In contrast, her journey as a surrogate unveiled the intuitive power of the female body during childbirth. Surrounded by a supportive team of compassionate women, Danielle witnessed firsthand the transformative potential of birthing in a nurturing environment. This experience illuminated the incredible capabilities of the female body and the profound impact of collaborative care.
These magical experiences, coupled with her training as a birth doula, form the cornerstone of Danielle's approach to birth work.
